EXHIBITION / CURATORIAL PROJECT – The Brick Space, The Hague
Within the project ‘Remodeling Heterotopia’, Topp & Dubio recreated their favorite but inaccessible exhibition space ‘Brick Space’ (part of The Modern Institute in Glasgow) as a movable heterotopia; a place where the distinction between artwork and art space can be discussed. The space itself was an installation and an exhibition space at the same time, taking place in another exhibition space (…ism project space in The Hague) in 2024. New site-specific works and models for exhibitions were tested here during the project, resulting in weekly presentations that explored the concept of ‘exhibition’ in many ways.
